Terms of Use
Last updated: 15 July 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the EV Charger Solutions website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service or submitting the free assessment form, you agree to these Terms.
1. About us
EV Charger Solutions (a ModernHelp business) provides customer support, project coordination and referral services for residential EV charger installations in Australia. We are not a licensed electrical contractor and we do not directly perform electrical work.
2. Our role — referrals to independent electricians
When you submit the assessment form, you understand and agree that:
- We will share the details you provide (including name, mobile, email, postcode, EV and parking information) with one or more independent licensed electrical contractors so that they can contact you to discuss, quote and arrange your installation;
- Those contractors are independent third parties, not our employees, agents or partners for the purposes of the electrical work itself;
- Any quote, contract, warranty, workmanship and installation is between you and the electrical contractor;
- You consent to be contacted by us and by the referred electrician(s) by phone, SMS and email in relation to your enquiry.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and the owner (or authorised occupant with permission from the owner) of the property where the charger is to be installed. You are responsible for ensuring that any information you provide is true, accurate and complete.
4. No guarantees
The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding:
- Installer availability, pricing, timeframes or warranty terms;
- Charger compatibility with your specific vehicle or property;
- Eligibility for or availability of any government rebate, subsidy or incentive;
- Any outcome, saving or benefit from having a charger installed.
All electrical work must be performed by a licensed electrical contractor in accordance with applicable Australian laws, regulations and standards including AS/NZS 3000 where applicable.
5. Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be lawfully excluded.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense (including indirect or consequential loss) arising out of or in connection with the Service, the acts or omissions of any electrical contractor, or your reliance on any information provided through the Service.
7. Advertising
We advertise on Facebook, Instagram and other platforms. Advertising and tracking practices (including the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API) are described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including logos, text, graphics and layouts, is owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied, reproduced or used without our written permission, except as permitted by law.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading or third-party details without authority;
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the state or territory in which our business is primarily located, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
